My New Love: Tangle Teezer

It finally arrived! I have been waiting for this for a few weeks now. But considering it came from England, two weeks isn't bad.
In case you don't know what a Tangle Teezer is. It's simply a brush. That's it.
Your probably thinking, why would you be excited about a brush? and to be honest i'm not sure.
I heard so many great reviews about it and I had to try it for my self. It's suppose to detangle hair really well, and my hair gets really knotty and I don't usually like brushing it. So I thought if this worked it would be my new love. (Hence the heading. It works!)

I got my Tangle Teezer off www.feelunique.com for $16.32 (Australian dollars) This included postage too, which was a bonus. It was really hard finding a cheap one because not many places sell them in Australia and for the salons that do, it cost $30. So the price I paid is nearly half price.
I got mine in tangerine because it is my favorite colour. However they do come in many other colours. They also come in two different styles, one being a travel one.

Anyway, until next time

$299 Hair Brush...!!

Hey guys,

So today I was flicking through a magazine looking at what new beauty stuff there was in the world where I came across a $299 brush. WHAT....?
This was a bit of a surprise to me as I can't imagine someone buying a $299 brush. Like really who's going to buy one when you buy one for $2.

This brush is called the Mason Pearson Large Hair Brush and it looks exactly like any other brush. So why is it so expensive??? The description says it's the Rolls Royce of hairbrushes and it's still made handmade in London after 100 years. I guess this part is impressive because after 100 years they havn't switched to machines and robots, but seriously, that's nearly $300.

While we are on the topic of unnecessary expensive products, I also found an eyelash curler. This one is much cheaper than the brush but it's still expensive for the product. Well I think it is anyway. It's called the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and it's $40. For some reason I can picture people buying this but I don't see the point. I mean you can get a cheaper one from a $2 store or Kmart if your in Australia.
If your like me and wondering how it could be so expensive then listen up, it's because it's the original and best one. And it also says that every other one is based on this one. I mean if they are all based on this one wouldn't they all be the same. So to me this doesn't really make sense.

Thanks guys and see you next time. xx

It will majority be about beauty but I want to incorporate other things to keep it interesting.

And because a post ins't a post without some pictures. Here are some fashion pictures I like. Hope you enjoy!

Mini Haul

Hey guys.

So today I went shopping and I wasn't expecting to buy anything but the last shop I went to I found some really cheap hair products.

The first thing I bought is my favorite one. It's Alberto VO5 Moisture Milks Moisturizing Shampoo and its matching conditioner. The reason I love it so much is because it smells like strawberry and cremes. Now this is my favorite lolly, so when I saw it on the shelf I was just like yes. I was also very happy because I had recently seen someone showing their strawberries and creme shampoo and conditioner and I wanted it. However I can't get the brand in Australia. So when I saw this you can imagine how happy I was.

The second thing I got was Loreal Paris Elvive Re-Nutrition Night Elixir. It's a leave in overnight treatment for dry hair. Recently I ombred my hair and the hairdresser kept saying "I can't stress how much you have to look after your hair, its going to get so dry!' So when I saw this I thought it was perfect. And the best thing is I just put the treatment in and don't have to worry about washing it out or finding time to do it. I can go to sleep and wake up with nice smooth hair. Well I hope so anyway, that's what the bottle says.

The third and final thing I bought was Schwarzkopf EC Hair Repair Colour Protect Instant Repair Treatment. I was a bit worried because the shampoo and conditioner I use isn't specifically designed for coloured hair. When I saw this I thought 'Great now I don't need to worry!' You just put it in after you wash your hair when it's a bit damp, which is perfect for me because I blow dry my hair until that point.

So that's what I bought today. have you guys bought anything recently?

Happy Easter

Happy Late Easter

I know It's a bit late, in Australia Easter was yesterday. But I have been busy and now is the only time I have time to write. So sorry. :(
Anyway I hope everyone has had or is having a great Easter and is getting lots of chocolate :)

For Easter this year I didn't ask for chocolate. I know you're probably thinking I'm crazy!
Instead I got 2 Revlon nail polishes. And if you read my last post you would know I have found a new love in them.
The nail polishes are an orange colour because that is my new favorite colour and I don't have many in my collection.

Left: 365 Orange Pop      Right: 440 Siren
I'm wearing the 365 Orange Pop

One of them is a scented one that smells once dry. I'm not sure what the scent is but to me it's a mix between oranges and my nail polish remover. Now I'm not saying it's bad, it's just different. However the scent lasts about a day.

That's all for now, I hope everyone is having a good time and enjoying all their chocolate. xx
